PROMOTION SUNDAY SMILES
Promotion Sunday went off without a hitch! (As far as I know, anyway!!) The children transitioned very smoothly to their new classes and the discipleship continued without interruption. Thank you so much for supporting our children and for all of your kind words of affirmation!
PRE-K/KINDERGARTEN SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED!
Although there has been an inquiry here or there, we are still searching for people to fill this area in children’s ministry. If you are interested but not completely sure if this area of ministry is where God is calling you, may I suggest giving it a trial run while I am out for a few weeks in September? Please contact me if you are interested in serving!

Wednesday Night and Sunday School
Tonight, we will continue our study on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) with Paul’s encouragement to proclaim the mystery of the Gospel boldly.
In Sunday School, the Gospel Project continues in Jesus’ infancy and childhood with “Jesus at the Temple.”
Bible Passage: Luke 2:41-52
Big Picture Question: Why did Jesus go to the temple?
Big Picture Answer: Jesus went to the temple to worship God.
Key Passage/Memory Verse: John 1:14 (Please guide your children at home in their memory work.)
Unit Christ Connection: Old Testament prophecies looked forward to the birth of Christ. Jesus’ roles as Son of God and Messiah are established.
In Christ,
Stephenie
