Oak Crest Children’s ministry is here to assist and support in the discipleship of children and their families. It is essential for children to understand what Jesus has done for them on the cross and how to have a relationship with Him every day of their life. Our church has a family focus on growth and development of our daily walk with Jesus.

Sunday Study and Worship Times
Sunday School
9:30 am - 10:30
We believe a firm foundation in Scripture is essential. To that end, our Children's Department will focus on learning the Old Testament in a cycle. Our Trekking Through the Testaments includes monthly Memory Verses, Catechism Questions adapted from the Children's Catechism by James Engles (1840), Bible Drill, and Bible Stories.

Family Worship Service
10:45 am-12:00 pm
Our families participate in corporate worship all together. There is a quiet room for nursing and changing diapers available at the back of the sanctuary. Our nursery is equipped with a live stream of the service and parents are welcome to play with their rowdy little ones or check them in with our loving volunteers. Nursery drop off is for under 4 years old.

Bible Study
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
On Sunday evenings we will be reviewing our Memory Verse, Catechism, and Bible Story for the week. Students will play games, create crafts, or reenact this week's Bible Story.

Wednesday Nights
Kid's Worship Night
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesday evenings are for worshipping through music! Our students will get a chance to review their Memory Verse and Catechism, and spend the majority of their time learning Hymns. They will learn some history and theology of the hymns as well as practice singing them. Our Kid's Choir will also prepare a song to be presented with our Adult Choir during our annual Nine Lessons and Carols service in December, and prepare a few songs for a new tradition, a Four Songs and Carols service focused on the Gospel of Luke.
