Israel Arguello, Pastor of Worship & Pastoral Care
In May of 2013, Israel Arguello became the Minister of Music at Oak Crest, and has since expanded his role to Worship Pastor also in charge of Pastoral Care. He earned a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2019. Israel also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Ministry from Ohio Christian University, a B.A. in Music, and a B.A. in Graphic Art and is classically trained in piano. Israel is originally from Ecuador where he was licensed and ordained. He and his wife, Erika, have two children, Ester and Marco. Israel also works as a Chaplain for Marketplace Ministries.
Jonathan Cole, Pastor of Student Ministries
Jonathan Cole became our Youth Director in June 2024, after being a member of Oak Crest since 2017. He was ordained in May 2025, becoming the Pastor of Student Ministries. He is a former educator and brings his affinity with students to his ministry here at Oak Crest. He and his wife, Dana, have three adorable boys, Jackson, Thomas, and Nolan.
