Stitchin' for Angels
A Service Ministry of Oak Crest Baptist Church
Our StoryStitchin' for Angels began in March 1999 because of a burden to help children cancer patients by supplying them with hats when they undergo chemotherapy treatment. We also wanted to help area hospitals with needs for premature and seriously ill infants in the neo-natal units. The ministry expanded quickly and we were soon able to include many other types of items that hospital personnel requested because of needs for their patients. These items would even help needy parents by supplying them with a blanket, hat, booties or clothing for their well babies.

All items come strictly from donations of fabric, yarn, money or the items themselves and go directly to the patients, free of charge. If you would like to help in any way with this need, please notify the church office.
At present, Stitchin' for Angels prepares about 150 items for delivery every month |
