Adoration
The LORD’s My Shepherd 1 The LORD’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want. He makes me down to lie in pastures green; He leadeth me the quiet waters by. 2 My soul He doth restore again; and me to walk doth make within the paths of righteousness, e’en for his own name’s sake. 3 Yea, though I walk thro' death’s dark vale, yet will I fear no ill; for Thou art with me, and Thy rod and staff me comfort still. 4 My table Thou hast furnishéd in presence of my foes; my head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows. 5 Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me: and in God’s house forevermore my dwelling place shall be. Crown Him with Many Crowns 1 Crown Him with many crowns, The Lamb upon His throne; Hark! how the heav’nly anthem drowns All music but its own: Awake, my soul, and sing Of Him who died for thee; And hail Him as thy matchless King Through all eternity. 2 Crown Him the Son of God, Before the worlds began, And ye who tread where He hath trod, Crown Him the Son of Man; Who every grief hath known That wrings the human breast, And takes and bears them for His own, That all in Him may rest. 3 Crown Him the Lord of love, Behold His hands and side, Those wounds, yet visible above, In beauty glorified. No angel in the sky Can fully bear that sight, But downward bends his wond’ring eye At mysteries so bright. 4 Crown Him the Lord of life, Who triumphed o’er the grave, And rose victorious in the strife For those He came to save. His glories now we sing, Who died, and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring, And lives that death may die. 5 Crown Him the Lord of lords, Who over all doth reign, Who once on earth, the incarnate Word, For ransomed sinners slain, Now lives in realms of light, Where saints with angels sing Their songs before Him day and night, Their God, Redeemer, King. I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say 1 I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come unto Me and rest; lay down, thou weary one, lay down thy head upon My breast.” I came to Jesus as I was, so weary, worn, and sad; I found in Him a resting place, and He has made me glad. 2 I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Behold, I freely give the living water, thirsty one; stoop down, and drink, and live.” I came to Jesus, and I drank of that life-giving stream; my thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him. 3 I heard the voice of Jesus say, “I am this dark world’s Light; look unto Me, thy morn shall rise, and all thy day be bright.” I looked to Jesus, and I found in Him my Star, my Sun; and in that Light of life I’ll walk, till trav'ling days are done. Oh, How He Loves You and Me 1 Oh, how He loves you and me. Oh, how He loves you and me. He gave His life; what more could He give? Oh, how He loves you; Oh, how He loves me; Oh, how He loves you and me! 2 Jesus to Calvary go, His love for mankind to show; What He did there brought hope from despair. Oh, how He loves you; Oh, how He loves me; Oh, how He loves you and me! Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus 1. O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free! Refrain: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace. 2. Thro' death into life everlasting, He passed, and we follow Him there; O’er us sin no more hath dominion-- For more than conqu’rors we are! 3. His Word shall not fail you--He promised; Believe Him, and all will be well: Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell! Love Divine Finish, then, thy new creation; Pure and spotless let us be; Let us see thy great salvation Perfectly restored in thee; Changed from glory into glory Till in Heav'n we take our place, Till we cast our crowns before thee, Lost in wonder, love, and praise!
