This Is Our Prayer
1. Joy comes to those who have trusted You, Lord, for salvation,
those who obey Your commands with unfeigned adoration.
This is our prayer: make us more fully aware
holiness is our vocation.

2. Joy comes to those who have brought up their children to fear You,
joy to observe how they live by the truth and revere You.
This is our prayer, Lord, for those under our care:
may they be constantly near You.

3. Joy comes to those who find bountiful giving a pleasure,
those who see justice and kindness as riches to treasure.
This is our prayer: Lord, make us eager to share;
make Your compassion our measure.

4. Joy comes to those who are sure they will not be forsaken,
those with no malice that life with its pains might awaken.
This is our prayer: when those who scorn You despair,
Lord, let our faith be unshaken.

Across the Lands
1. You’re the Word of God the Father,
From before the world began;
Every star and every planet
Has been fashioned by Your hand.
All creation holds together
By the power of Your voice:
Let the skies declare Your glory,
Let the land and seas rejoice!

Refrain:
You're the Author of creation,
You're the Lord of every man;
And Your cry of love rings out
Across the lands.

2. Yet You left the gaze of angels,
Came to seek and save the lost,
And exchanged the joy of heaven
For the anguish of a cross.
With a prayer You fed the hungry,
With a word You stilled the sea.
Yet how silently You suffered
That the guilty may go free.

3. With a shout You rose victorious,
Wresting victory from the grave,
And ascended into heaven
Leading captives in Your way.
Now You stand before the Father
Interceding for Your own.
From each tribe and tongue and nation
You are leading sinners home.

God, the Uncreated One
1. God the uncreated One, the Author of salvation
Who wrote the laws of space and time
And fashioned worlds to His design
The One whom angel hosts revere
Hung the stars like chandeliers
Numbered every grain of sand
Knows the heart of every man
He is King forever, He is King forever
He is King forevermore.

2. God our fortress and our strength
The Rock on which we can depend
Matchless in His majesty, His power and authority
Unshaken by the schemes of man
Never changing Great I am
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall
He is faithful through it all
Crown Him King forever, crown Him King forever
Crown Him King forevermore.

3. Mighty God in mortal flesh, forsaken by a traitor's kiss
The curse of sin and centuries did
Pierce the lowly Prince of Peace
O lifted high, the sinless man
They crucified the spotless Lamb
Buried by the sons of man but He was
Rescued by the Father's hand
To reign as King forever, reign as King forever
Reign as King forevermore.

4. King eternal, God of grace
We crown You with the highest praise
Heaven shouts and saints adore
You're holy, holy, holy Lord
What joy in everlasting life
When all is love and faith is sight
Justice rolls and praises rise at the name of Jesus Christ
King of kings forever, King of kings forever
King of kings forevermore
You’re the King of kings forever, King of kings forever
King of kings forevermore.

Fairest Lord Jesus
Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forever more be Thine.

Hallelujah, what a Savior!
1. "Man of Sorrows!" what a name
For the Son of God who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
Hallelujah, what a Savior!

2. Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood,
Sealed my pardon with His blood;
Hallelujah, what a Savior!

3. Guilty, vile and helpless we,
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
Full atonement! can it be?
Hallelujah, what a Savior!

4. Lifted up was He to die,
"It is finished," was His cry;
Now in heav'n exalted high:
Hallelujah, what a Savior!

5. When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
Then anew this song we'll sing:
Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
1. Praise, my soul, the King of heaven,
To His feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing;
Alleluia! Alleluia! praise the everlasting King.

2. Praise Him for His grace and favor
To our fathers in distress;
Praise Him, still the same as ever,
Slow to chide, and swift to bless;
Alleluia! Alleluia! Glorious in His faithfulness.

3. Frail as summer's flow'r we flourish;
blows the wind and it is gone;
but, while mortals rise and perish,
God endures unchanging on:
Alleluia! Alleuluia! Praise the high eternal One.

4. Angels in the height, adore Him;
Ye behold Him face to face;
Saints triumphant, bow before Him;
gathered in from ev'ry race;
Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise with us the God of grace.

There Is a Higher Throne
1. There is a higher throne
Than all this world has known,
Where faithful ones from ev'ry tongue
Will one day come.
Before the Son we stand,
Made faultless through the Lamb;
Believing hearts find promised grace--
Salvation comes.

Refrain:
Hear heaven's voices sing;
Their thund'rous anthem rings
Through em'rald courts and sapphire skies.
Their praises rise.
All glory, wisdom, pow'r,
Strength, thanks, and honor are
To God our King, who reigns on high
Forevermore.

2. And there we'll find our home,
Our life before the throne;
We'll honor Him in perfect song
Where we belong.
He'll wipe each tear-stained eye
As thirst and hunger die.
The Lamb becomes our Shepherd King;
We'll reign with Him.

Come, Thou fount of Every Blessing
1. Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the Mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of God’s unchanging love.

2. Here I raise my Ebenezer;
Here by Thy great help I’ve come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His Precious Blood.

3. O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.

4. O that day when freed from sinning,
I shall see Thy Lovely Face;
Clothe then in blood washed linen
How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace;
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry,
Take my ransomed soul away;
Send Thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless day.

More Love to thee, O Christ
1. More love to Thee, O Christ,
More love to Thee!
Hear Thou the prayer I make
On bended knee.
This is my earnest plea:
More love, O Christ, to Thee,
More love to Thee,
More love to Thee!

2. Once earthly joy I craved,
Sought peace and rest;
Now Thee alone I seek,
Give what is best.
This all my prayer shall be:
More love, O Christ, to Thee,
More love to Thee,
More love to Thee!

3. Then shall my latest breath
Whisper Thy praise;
This be the parting cry
My heart shall raise.
This still its prayer shall be:
More love, O Christ, to Thee,
More love to Thee,
More love to Thee!

Complete in Thee
1. Complete in Thee! no work of mine
May take, dear Lord, the place of Thine;
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And I am now complete in Thee.

Refrain:
Yea, justified! O blessed thought!
And sanctified! Salvation wrought!
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And glorified, I too, shall be!

2. Complete in Thee! I die to sin,
Thy grace hath conquered, reign within;
Thy voice shall bid the tempter flee,
And I shall stand complete in Thee.

3. Complete in Thee--each need supplied,
And no good thing to me denied;
Since Thou my portion, Lord, will be,
I ask no more, complete in Thee.

4. Dear Savior! when before Thy bar
All tribes and tongues assembled are,
Among Thy chosen will I be,
At Thy right hand, complete in Thee.

Down at the Cross
Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to his name!

Refrain:
Glory to his name,
Glory to his name;
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to his name!

God Judges in the Midst of Gods
1. God judges in the midst of gods;
He stands among the strong.
And to the wicked and unjust,
The cry goes out: how long?

2. Defend the poor and fatherless;
Do justice to the weak.
Deliver from the wicked hand
The needy and the meek.

3. They neither know nor understand;
In darkness deep they stray.
And the foundations of the earth
Are shaken underway.

4. I said to them, "You all are gods
And sons of the Most High.
But as the rulers, you shall fall,
And like all men, shall die."

5. Arise, O God, and judge the earth,
Your great decree assured;
The world as Your inheritance,
And every nation Yours!

How Firm a Foundation
1. How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word!
What more can He say than to you He hath said,
To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

2. "Fear not! I am with thee; O be not dismayed,
For I am thy God, and will still give thee aid;
I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.

3. "When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie,
My grace, all sufficient, shall be thy supply;
The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design
Thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine.

4. "The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose
I will not, I will not desert to his foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I'll never, no never, no never forsake!"

May the Mind of Christ, My Savior
1. May the mind of Christ, my Savior,
live in me from day to day,
by His love and pow'r controlling
all I do and say.

2. May the word of God dwell richly
in my heart from hour to hour,
so that all may see I triumph
only through His pow'r.

3. May the peace of God my Father
rule my life in everything,
that I may be calm to comfort
sick and sorrowing.

4. May the love of Jesus fill me
as the waters fill the sea;
Him exalting, self abasing:
this is victory.

5. May I run the race before me,
strong and brave to face the foe,
looking only unto Jesus
as I onward go.

6. May His beauty rest upon me
as I seek the lost to win,
and may they forget the channel,
seeing only Him.

Speak, O Lord.
1 Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
to receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
that the light of Christ might be seen today
in our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us,
all Your purposes for Your glory.

2. Teach us, Lord, full obedience,
holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
in the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow'r that can never fail,
let their truth prevail over unbelief.

3. Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;
help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us.
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
that will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we'll stand on Your promises,
and by faith we'll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your Church is built
and the earth is filled with Your glory.

Not in Me
1. No list of sins I have not done,
No list of virtues I pursue,
No list of those I am not like
Can earn myself a place with You.
O God, be merciful to me–
I am a sinner through and through!
My only hope of righteousness
Is not in me, but only You.

2. No humble dress, no fervent prayer,
No lifted hands, no tearful song,
No recitation of the truth
Can justify a single wrong.
My righteousness is Jesus’ life, m
My debt was paid by Jesus’ death,
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest.

3. No separation from the world,
No work I do, no gift I give
Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands;
I cannot cause my soul to live.
But Jesus died and rose again–
The power of death is overthrown!
My God is merciful to me
And merciful in Christ alone.

Trust and Obey
4. Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet
Or we'll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

Rejoice, You Righteous, in the Lord
1. Rejoice, you righteous, in the Lord,
and sing a hymn of praise!
Make music now with heart and voice,
a skillful song now raise!
For true and faithful are His works,
and all His words are right!
All righteousness Jehovah loves,
in justice takes delight.

2. The heav'ns were made by His command,
the stars with but a word.
The sea He gathers in His hand--
its depths by Him are stored.
God spoke, and all the earth was made!
All people, fear the Lord!
O stand, all earth, in awe of Him,
and tremble at His word!

3. The nations of the earth may plan.
but men's designs shall fail.
The Lord shall foil all schemes of man;
no sinful thoughts prevail.
The counsels of the Lord shall stand;
they are forever sure.
The plans of Yahweh's heart are firm;
His chosen ones, secure.

4. From heav'n above the Lord looks down
on all the sons of men;
the small, and men of great renown,
He watches from His throne.
In sov'reign providence He moves
and fashions all their hearts;
considers all their works, and then
to each his own imparts.

5. An army cannot save a king,
nor rescue from the grave.
No mighty horse can safety bring--
God's hand alone can save!
Our souls wait only for the Lord,
our Helper and our Shield.
In Him alone we find our joy;
to none but Him we yield.

Come, Praise and Glorify
1. Come, praise and glorify our God,
The Father of our Lord.
In Christ, He has in heav'nly realms
His blessings on us poured.
For pure and blameless in His sight
He destined us to be,
And now we've been adopted through
His Son eternally.

Refrain:
To the praise of Your glory,
To the praise of Your mercy and grace,
To the praise of Your glory,
You are the God who saves!

2. Come, praise and glorify our God
Who gives His grace in Christ.
In Him our sins are washed away,
Redeemed through sacrifice.
In Him God has made known to us
The myst'ry of His will,
That Christ should be the head of all,
His purpose to fulfill.

3. Come, praise and glorify our God
For we've believed the Word.
And through our faith we have a seal
The Spirit of the Lord.
The Spirit guarantees our hope
Until redemption's done,
Until we join in endless praise
To God, the Three in One.

I Lay My sins on Jesus
1. I lay my sins on Jesus,
the spotless Lamb of God;
He bears them all, and frees us
from the accursed load;
I bring my guilt to Jesus,
to wash my crimson stains
white in His blood most precious,
till not a spot remains.

2. I lay my wants on Jesus;
all fullness dwells in Him;
He heals all my diseases,
He doth my soul redeem;
I lay my griefs on Jesus,
my burdens and my cares;
He from them all releases,
He all my sorrow shares.

3. I long to be like Jesus,
meek, loving, lowly, mild;
I long to be like Jesus,
the Father's holy Child;
I long to be with Jesus
amid the heav'nly throng,
to sing with saints His praises,
to learn the angels' song.

My Worth Is Not in What I Own
1. My worth is not in what I own,
Not in the strength of flesh and bone,
But in the costly wounds of love
At the cross.

2. My worth is not in skill or name,
In win or lose, in pride or shame,
But in the blood of Christ that flowed
At the cross.

Refrain:
I rejoice in my Redeemer
Greatest Treasure,
Wellspring of my soul!
I will trust in Him, no other.
My soul is satisfied in Him alone.

3. As summer flowers we fade and die,
Fame, youth and beauty hurry by,
But life eternal calls to us
At the cross.

4. I will not boast in wealth or might,
Or human wisdom’s fleeting light,
But I will boast in knowing Christ
At the cross.

5. Two wonders here that I confess,
My worth and my unworthiness.
My value fixed – my ransom paid,
At the cross.

Nothing but the Blood
This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
