The Church’s One Foundation
1 The church's one Foundation
is Jesus Christ her Lord;
she is His new creation,
by water and the Word;
from heav'n He came and sought her
to be His holy bride;
with His own blood He bought her,
and for her life He died.

2 Elect from ev'ry nation,
yet one o'er all the earth,
her charter of salvation,
one Lord, one faith, one birth;
one holy Name she blesses,
partakes one holy food,
and to one hope she presses,
with ev'ry grace endued.

3 'Mid toil and tribulation,
and tumult of her war,
she waits the consummation
of peace for evermore;
till with the vision glorious
her longing eyes are blest,
and the great church victorious
shall be the church at rest.

4 Yet she on earth hath union
with God the Three in One,
and mystic sweet communion
with those whose rest is won.
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we,
like them, the meek and lowly,
on high may dwell with Thee.

The Master Has Come
1 The Master has come, and He calls us to follow
The track of the footprints He leaves on our way;
Far over the mountain and thro' the deep hollow,
The path leads us on to the mansions of day:
The Master hath called us, the children who fear Him,
Who march 'neath Christ's banner, His own little band;
We love Him and seek Him, we long to be near Him,
And rest in the light of His beautiful land.

2 The Master has called us; the road may be dreary,
And dangers and sorrows are strewn on the track;
But God's Holy Spirit shall comfort the weary;
We follow the Savior and cannot turn back;
The Master hath called us: tho' doubt and temptation
May compass our journey, we cheerfully sing:
"Press onward, look upward," thro' much tribulation;
The children of Zion must follow their King.

3 The Master has called us, in life's early morning,
With spirits as fresh as the dew on the sod:
We turn from the world, with its smiles and its scorning,
To cast in our lot with the people of God:
The Master has called us, His sons and His daughters,
We plead for His blessing and trust in His love;
And thro' the green pastures, beside the still waters,
He'll lead us at last to His kingdom above.

Grace Alone
1 Ev'ry promise we can make,
Ev'ry prayer and step of faith,
Ev'ry diff'rence we will make,
Is only by His grace.
Ev'ry mountain we will climb,
Ev'ry ray of hope we shine,
Ev'ry blessing left behind,
Is only by His grace.

Refrain
Grace alone which God supplies,
Strength unknown He will provide,
Christ in us our Cornerstone,
We will go forth in grace alone.

2 Ev'ry soul we long to reach,
Ev'ry heart we hope to teach,
Ev'rywhere we share His peace,
Is only by His grace.
Ev'ry loving word we say,
Ev'ry tear we wipe away,
Ev'ry sorrow turned to praise,
Is only by His grace.

Be Still and Know that I Am God
1 Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am God.

2 I am the Lord that healeth thee.
I am the Lord that healeth thee.
I am the Lord that healeth thee.

3 In Thee, O Lord, I put my trust.
In Thee, O Lord. I put my trust.
In Thee, O Lord, I put my trust.

Not in Me
1 No list of sins I have not done,
No list of virtues I pursue,
No list of those I am not like,
Can earn myself a place with You.
O God! Be merciful to me--
I am a sinner through and through!
My only hope of righteousness
Is not in me, but only You.

2 No humble dress, no fervent prayer,
No lifted hands, no tearful song,
No recitation of the truth
Can justify a single wrong.
My righteousness is Jesus' life,
My debt was paid by Jesus' death,
My weary load was borne by Him
And he alone can give me rest.

3 No separation from the world,
No work I do, no gift I give,
Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands;
I cannot cause my soul to live.
But Jesus died and rose again--
The pow'r of death is overthrown!
My God is merciful to me
And merciful in Christ alone.

My Jesus, I Love Thee
In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I'll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright.
And sing with thee glittering crown on my brow,
"If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now."

Holy, Holy, Holy

1 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

2 Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who were, and art, and evermore shalt be.

3 Holy, holy, holy! tho' the darkness hide Thee,
Tho' the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow'r, in love, and purity.

4 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Crown Him with Many Crowns
1 Crown Him with many crowns,
the Lamb upon His throne.
Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns
all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless king
through all eternity.

2 Crown Him the Son of God,
before the worlds began,
And ye who tread where He hath trod,
crown Him the Son of Man;
Who every grief hath known
that wrings the human breast,
And takes and bears them for His own,
that all in Him may rest.

3 Crown Him the Lord of love,
behold His hands and side,
Those wounds, yet visible above,
in beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends his burning eye
at mysteries so bright.

4 Crown Him the Lord of life,
who triumphed o’er the grave,
And rose victorious in the strife
for those He came to save.
His glories now we sing,
who died, and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring,
and lives that death may die.

5 Crown Him the Lord of lords,
who over all doth reign,
Who once on earth, the incarnate Word,
for ransomed sinners slain,
Now lives in realms of light,
where saints with angels sing
Their songs before Him day and night,
their God, Redeemer, King.

Christ the Sure and Steady Anchor
1 Christ the sure and steady Anchor
In the fury of the storm
When the winds of doubt blow through me
And my sails have all been torn
In the suffering, in the sorrow
When my sinking hopes are few
I will hold fast to the Anchor
It shall never be removed.

2 Christ the sure and steady Anchor
While the tempest rages on
When temptation claims the battle
And it seems the night has won
Deeper still then goes the Anchor
Though I justly stand accused
I will hold fast to the Anchor
It shall never be removed.

3 Christ the sure and steady Anchor
Through the floods of unbelief
Hopeless somehow, O my soul, now
Lift your eyes to Calvary
This my ballast of assurance
See His love forever proved
I will hold fast to the Anchor
It shall never be removed.

4 Christ the sure and steady Anchor
As we face the wave of death
When these trials give way to glory
As we draw our final breath
We will cross that great horizon
Clouds behind and life secure
And the calm will be the better
For the storms that we endure.

Christ the sure of our salvation
Ever faithful, ever true
We will hold fast to the Anchor
It shall never be removed.

Redeemed
Redeemed and so happy in Jesus,
no language my rapture can tell!
I know that the light of His presence
with me doth continually dwell.

Refrain:
Redeemed, redeemed,
redeemed by the blood of the Lamb!
Redeemed, redeemed–
His child and forever, I am.

My Worth Is Not in What I Own
1 My worth is not in what I own
Not in the strength of flesh and bone
But in the costly wounds of love
At the cross.

2 My worth is not in skill or name
In win or lose, in pride or shame
But in the blood of Christ that flowed
At the cross.

Refrain
I rejoice in my Redeemer
Greatest Treasure
Wellspring of my soul
I will trust in Him, no other
My soul is satisfied in Him alone.

3 As summer flowers we fade and die
Fame, youth and beauty hurry by
But life eternal calls to us
At the cross.

4 I will not boast in wealth or might
Or human wisdom’s fleeting light
But I will boast in knowing Christ
At the cross.

5 Two wonders here that I confess
My worth and my unworthiness
My value fixed – my ransom paid
At the cross.

To God Be the Glory
3 Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

Refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.

Praise the Lord! Ye Heavens Adore Him
1 Praise the Lord! ye heav'ns adore Him;
Praise Him angels, in the height;
Sun and moon, rejoice before Him;
Praise Him all ye stars of light.
Praise the Lord! for He hath spoken;
Worlds His mighty voice obeyed;
Law which never shall be broken
For their guidance hath He made.

2 Praise the Lord! for He is glorious;
Never shall His promise fail;
God hath made His saints victorious;
Sin and death shall not prevail.
Praise the God of our salvation!
Hosts on high, His pow'r proclaim;
Heav'n and earth and all creation
Laud and magnify His name.

3 Worship, honor, glory, blessing,
Lord, we offer unto Thee;
Young and old, Thy praise expressing,
In glad homage bend the knee.
All the saints in heav'n adore Thee,
We would bow before Thy throne;
As Thine angels serve before Thee,
So on earth Thy will be done.

Soldiers of Christ, Arise
1 Soldiers of Christ, arise,
And put your armor on,
Strong in the strength which God supplies
Thro' His eternal Son;
Strong in the Lord of hosts
And in His mighty pow'r,
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts
Is more than conqueror.

2 Stand then in His great might,
With all His strength endued,
And take, to aid you in the fight,
The panoply of God.
From strength to strength go on,
Wrestle and fight and pray;
Tread all the pow'rs of darkness down
And win the well-fought day.

3 Leave no unguarded place,
No weakness of the soul;
Take every virtue, every grace,
And fortify the whole.
That, having all things done
And all your conflicts past,
Ye may o'ercome thro' Christ alone
And stand complete at last.

My Shepherd, You Supply My Need
1 My Shepherd will supply my need,
Most holy is Your name.
In pastures fresh You make me feed,
Beside the living stream.
You bring my wand'ring spirit back
When I forsake Your ways;
And leads me, for your mercy's sake,
In paths of truth and grace.

2 When I walk thro' the shades of death,
Your presence is my stay;
One word of Your supporting breath
Drives all my fears away.
Your hand, in sight of all my foes,
Does still my table spread,
My cup with blessings overflows,
Your oil anoints my head.

3 The sure provisions of my God
Attend me all my days;
O may Your house be mine abode,
And all my work be praise!
Here would I find a settled rest,
While others go and come;
No more a stranger or a guest,
But like a child at home.

Jesus Is Mine
1 Fade, fade each earthly joy;
Jesus is mine.
Stronger than fleeting hopes,
Jesus is mine.
Dark is the wilderness,
Earth has no resting place,
Jesus alone can bless;
Jesus is mine.

2 In days of fragile peace,
Jesus is mine.
Through tearful nights of grief,
Jesus is mine.
His voice commands the storm
His presence stills my soul,
He will sustain my hope
Jesus is mine.

CHORUS
Jesus is mine,
Jesus is mine,
When all else fails, He still remains;
Jesus is mine.

3 When on that final day,
Jesus is mine.
Before His radiant face,
Jesus is mine.
Safe in His arms I’ll cling,
Praising my Savior King,
Forevermore I’ll sing:
”Jesus is mine.”

Trust and Obey
1 When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word
What a glory He sheds on our way!
Let us do His good will;
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Chorus:
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

2 Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.

3 But we never can prove
The delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows
And the joy He bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey.

4 Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet
Or we'll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Doxology
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.

By Faith
1 By faith, we see the hand of God
In the light of creation’s grand design;
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness,
Who walk by faith and not by sight.

2 By faith, our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God’s own hand –
A place where peace and justice reign.

Refrain
We will stand as children of the promise,
We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul’s reward.
Till the race is finished and the work is done,
We’ll walk by faith and not by sight.

3 By faith, the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death,
And rise triumphant from the grave.

4 By faith, the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news,
In every corner of the earth.

5 By faith, this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail,
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name.

For the Beauty of the Earth
1 For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

2 For the wonder of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale and tree and flow'r,
Sun and moon and stars of light:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

3 For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth and friends above;
For all gentle thoughts and mild:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

4 For Your church that evermore
Lifteth holy hands above,
Off'ring up on ev'ry shore
Her pure sacrifice of love:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

5 For Yourself, best Gift Divine!
To our race so freely giv'n;
For that great, great love of Thine,
Peace on earth and joy in heav'n:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

If You Will Only Let God Guide You
1 If you will only let God guide you,
And hope in Him thro' all your ways,
Whatever comes, He'll stand beside you,
To bear you thro' the evil days;
Who trusts in God's unchanging love
Builds on the Rock that cannot move.

2 Only be still, and wait His leisure
In cheerful hope, with heart content
To take whate'er the Father's pleasure
And all discerning love have sent;
Nor doubt our inmost wants are known
To Him who chose us for His own.

3 Sing, pray, and swerve not from His ways,
But do your part in conscience true;
Trust His rich promises of grace,
So shall they be fulfilled in you;
God hears the callof those in need,
The souls that trust in Him indeed.

For He Alone Is Worthy
1 For He alone is worthy,
For He alone is worthy,
For He alone is worthy,
Christ the Lord!

2 We'll give Him all the glory,
We'll give Him all the glory,
We'll give Him all the glory,
Christ the Lord!

3 O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!

O For a closer Walk with God
1 O for a closer walk with God,
A calm and heav'nly frame,
A light to shine upon the road
That leads me to the Lamb!

2 Where is the blessedness I knew
When first I sought the Lord?
Where is the soul refreshing view
Of Jesus and His Word?

3 Return, O holy Dove, return,
Sweet messenger of rest!
I hate the sins that made Thee mourn,
And drove Thee from my breast.

4 The dearest idol I have known,
Whate'er that idol be,
Help me to tear it from Thy throne
And worship only Thee.

5 So shall my walk be close with God,
Calm and serene my frame;
So purer light shall mark the road
That leads me to the Lamb.

Rejoice, Ye Pure in Heart
1 Rejoice, ye pure in heart;
Rejoice, give thanks and sing.
Your festal banner wave on high,
The cross of Christ your King.

Chorus:
Rejoice, rejoice,
Rejoice, give thanks and sing!

2 Praise God, who reigns on high,
The Lord whom we adore,
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
One God forevermore.

Christ Is Risen, He Is Risen Indeed
1 How can it be the One who died
Has borne our sin through sacrifice
To conquer every sting of death?
Sing, sing "Hallelujah!"

2 For joy awakes as dawning light
When Christ's disciples lift their eyes.
Alive He stands, their Friend and King:
Christ, Christ He is risen!

Chorus
Christ is risen, He's risen indeed!
Oh sing "Hallelujah!"
Join the chorus sing with the redeemed:
Christ is risen, He's risen indeed!

3 Where doubt and darkness once had been,
They saw Him and their hearts believed;
But bless'd are those who have not seen,
Yet sing "Hallelujah!"

4 Once bound by fear, now bold in faith,
They preached the truth and pow'r of grace
And pouring out their lives they gained
Life, life everlasting.

5 The power that raised Him from the grave
Now works in us to powerfully save
He frees our hearts to live His grace
Go tell of His goodness.
Chorus

Christ Arose!
1 Low in the grave He lay--
Jesus, my Savior!
Waiting the coming day--
Jesus, my Lord!

Chorus:
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes.
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

2 Vainly they watch His bed--
Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead--
Jesus, my Lord!

3 Death cannot keep his prey--
Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away--
Jesus, my Lord!

I Know that My Redeemer Lives
1 I know that my Redeemer lives;
what comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, He lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my everlasting Head.

2 He lives triumphant from the grave,
He lives eternally to save,
He lives all-glorious in the sky,
He lives exalted there on high.

3 He lives to bless me with His love,
He lives to plead for me above,
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to help in time of need.

4 He lives to grant me rich supply,
He lives to guide me with His eye,
He lives to comfort me when faint,
He live to hear my soul's complaint.

5 He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to wipe away my tears,
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives all blessings to impart.

6 He lives, my kind, wise, heav'nly Friend,
He lives and loves me to the end;
He lives, and while He lives, I'll sing;
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.

7 He lives and grants me daily breath;
He lives and I shall conquer death;
He lives my mansion to prepare;
He lives to bring me safely there.

8 He lives, all glory to His name!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same.
Oh, the sweet joy this sentence gives,
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"

Christ the Lord Is Risen Today
1 Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say: Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav'ns, and earth, reply: Alleluia!

2 Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!

3 Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise, Alleluia!
Christ hath opened Paradise, Alleluia!

4 Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
