/>In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness,
Who walk by faith and not by sight.

2 By faith, our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God’s own hand –
A place where peace and justice reign.

Refrain
We will stand as children of the promise,
We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul’s reward.
Till the race is finished and the work is done,
We’ll walk by faith and not by sight.

3 By faith, the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death,
And rise triumphant from the grave.

4 By faith, the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news,
In every corner of the earth.

5 By faith, this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail,
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name.

For the Beauty of the Earth
1 For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

2 For the wonder of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale and tree and flow'r,
Sun and moon and stars of light:
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

3 For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, For Yourself, best Gift Divine!
To our race so freely giv'n;
For that great, great love of Thine,
Peace on earth and joy in not from His ways,
But do your part in conscience true;
Trust His rich promises of grace,
So shall they be fulfilled in />

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation!
All ye who hear,
Now to His temple draw near;
Praise Him in glad adoration.

2 Praise to the Lord, who o'er all things so wondrously reigneth,
Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth!
Hast thou not seen
How thy desires e'er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?

3 Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew
What the Almighty can do,
If with His love He befriend thee.

4 Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen
Sound from His people again,
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

O God, Our Help in Ages Past
1 O God, our Help in ages past,
our Hope for years to come,
our Shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal Home.

2 Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
sufficient is Thine arm alone,
and our defense is sure.

3 Before the hills in order stood,
or earth received its frame,
from everlasting Thou art God,
to endless years the same.

4 A thousand ages in Thy sight
are like an evening gone,
short as the watch that ends the night
before the rising sun.

5 Time, like an ever-rolling stream
bears all its sons away;
they fly forgotten, as a dream
dies at the op’ning day.

6 O God, our Help in ages past,
our Hope for years to come,
be Thou our Guard while life shall last,
and our eternal Home!

God the Uncreated One
1 God the uncreated One, the Author of salvation.
Who wrote the laws of space and time,
And fashioned worlds to His design.

The One whom angel hosts revere,
Hung the stars like chandeliers.
Numbered every grain of sand,
Knows the heart of every man.
He is King forever, He is King forever,
He is King forevermore.

2 God our fortress and our strength,
The Rock on which we can depend.
Matchless in His majesty, His power and authority.

Unshaken by the schemes of man,
Never changing Great I am.
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall,
He is faithful through it all.
Crown Him King forever, crown Him King forever,
Crown Him King forevermore.

3 Mighty God in mortal flesh, forsaken by a traitor's kiss.
The curse of sin and centuries did,
Pierce the lowly Prince of Peace.

O lifted high, the sinless man,
They crucified the spotless Lamb.
Buried by the sons of man but He was
Rescued by the Father's hand.
To reign as King forever, reign as King forever,
Reign as King forevermore.

4 King eternal, God of grace,
We crown You with the highest praise.
Heaven shouts and saints adore,
You're holy, holy, holy Lord.

What joy in everlasting life,
When all is love and faith is sight.
Justice rolls and praises rise at the name of Jesus Christ.
King of kings forever, King of kings forever,
King of kings forevermore.

God Is Our Refuge and Our Strength
1 God is our refuge and our strength,
a helper ever near us.
We will not fear though earth be moved,
for God is nigh to cheer us.
Although the mountains quake
and earth's foundations shake,
though angry billows roar
and break against the shore,
our mighty God will hear us.

2 God's city is forever blest
with living waters welling;
since God is there, she stands unmoved
'mid tumults 'round her swelling.
God speaks and all is peace,
from war the nations cease;
the Lord of hosts is nigh.
Our father's God most high
is our eternal dwelling.

3 Behold what God has done on earth;
His wrath brings desolation.
His grace, commanding wars to cease,
brings peace to every nation.
Be still, for He is Lord,
by all the earth adored;
the Lord of hosts is nigh.
Our father's God most high
is our strong habitation.

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
1 Come, Thou fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.

2 Here I raise my Ebenezer;
Here by Thy great help I’ve come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His precious blood.

3 O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.

4 O that day when freed from sinning,
I shall see Thy lovely face;
Clothed then in blood washed linen
How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace;
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry,
Take my ransomed soul away;
Send thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless day.

I Know Whom I Have Believed
4 I know not when my Lord may come,
At night or noon-day fair,
Nor if I'll walk the vale with Him,
Or meet Him in the air.

But "I know whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day."
